Michelle’s wanderlust developed in childhood. Growing up in Hiroshima, she joined a student program that took her to Sydney, followed by a high school exchange in Saarbrücken, Germany – early experiences that sparked a passion for cultural immersion and set her on a lifelong path of exploration.
Since then, Michelle has traveled extensively through Europe, Central America, Africa and the United States, often as a solo traveler. Her professional career includes assignments across the Middle East in Kuwait, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Along the way, she embraced extraordinary adventures: swimming with whale sharks in Mexico, skydiving in New Zealand, diving the Great Barrier Reef, riding camels in Cairo and safari in South Africa. She is inspired by the beauty of the natural world.
At Videre Travel, Michelle brings a passion for life-changing journeys and travel as a path to growth and connection, helping you achieve your bucketlist and create transformative stories you’ll never forget.

All of them! One that stands out is feeding the elephants at the Wild Horizons sanctuary in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Witnessing the power of a volcanic eruption in Iceland was also particularly memorable.
