Susan’s passion for exploration began when her family relocated to Australia. From there, she lived in São Paulo, Brazil and London: each year venturing to new destinations. Those experiences opened her eyes to different cultures and instilled a deep appreciation for the way travel shapes people.
Before entering the travel industry, Susan had an impressive international career with IBM, Time Warner, Turner Broadcasting and Conservation International. Alongside her professional journey, she cultivated a love of languages and is fluent in Portuguese, French, Spanish and German (with enough Italian to get by).
Having explored more than 80 countries across the globe, Susan brings extensive experience to her work at Videre Travel. Whether uncovering the vibrancy of a great city or quiet beauty of the wilderness, she helps you discover both the world and your dreams through bespoke, thoughtfully-curated journeys.

Although I love a good big-city stay, my favorite travel experiences involve nature and wildlife viewing such as Kenya, Rwanda, Nepal, Costa Rica or Chile.
Super special was staying in the Ice Hotel (yes, I slept on an ice bed) in northern Sweden and experiencing the northern lights.
Other favorites! Gorilla trekking in Rwanda; spending the night in the desert in Morocco; scuba diving off the coast of Kenya; entering Petra, Jordan at night with the Treasury bathed in starlight; experiencing Day of the Dead in Oaxaca, Mexico.
